    A RED carpet evening was staged at East Devon District Council’s Sidmouth headquarters on Thursday, when local councillors gathered for a celebration of the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee.

    DOG OWNERS are reminded that East Devon District Council’s byelaws prohibiting dogs from certain parts of the beaches in the District are about to come into force again after the winter break. The dog ban runs from 1 May to 30 September each year.
